The Eau Claire area is a wonderful place to live, work and raise a family. This doesn't happen by accident. It happens through the generosity of many people who recognize the need to support our less fortunate neighbors. I have been foturnate throughout my career that my employer, M & I Bank, also recognizes the responsibility we have to the area needs.
United Way of Greater Eau Claire continues to be a leader in this mission and I am proud to say I have been involved for over 30 years. During that time I have seen the needs of our area change and our United Way and the programs we fund also changed to meet those needs. The reason I feel so strongly about our organization is that the funds stay here.
This year I have been given the opportunity to be the Campaign Chair of the Greater Eau Claire United Way. I do not take this responsibility lightly because I know how important our funding is to the programs, and the neighbors that benefit from those programs. I hope that I can count on each of you to help continue our successful United Way tradition. This means taking the LIVE UNITED slogan seriously, and giving of your time and money to help our neighbors.
